Thanks. I think your advice on filters is good. Don’t think it will be that cold and we’ll be in a heated vehicle but I carry lots of batteries! Partner declines the whale blubber suggestion! Thanks!
We will be there end of October so I don’t think we’ll get the northern lights. In fact, I’m more worried that it will be too warm rather than too cold! I have a 40-150 lens. And a super zoom point and shoot. (And a couple of other point and shoots I’ll bring just in case). Thanks!
It only works ‘well’ if people inside are not moving around as they often do in trying to see where the bears are. A sand bag will not steady your camera if the Buggy is rocking about. I have several blurred photos taken on my sand bag. Just saying what happened to me in Churchill, Canada. If you can control the other folks in your Buggy it is a great stabilizing device….
