My walking route has mostly pine trees with a few non pine thrown in. I found these, and more, just today

From time to time I find these things growing at various spots around the house. Here are three for consideration. I don’t know anything about them, except not to put them on the dinner table.

Went fishing deep in the woods, almost stood on this little guy.

I really wished I'd brought the Nikon and macro.

p2. You found some really cool ones. The first looks as if it were covered in candied cherries.

Creepy as it sounds, it seemed to be "bleeding ".

p2. These are so unique, Roxie. Some are similar to my finds, yet others totally different. You made some good finds.

Now I'm hooked on looking for more unusual and fantastic fungus! There is a show on Netflix called just that, it was a documentary about them. Very interesting and beautiful. Alot of information. I'm looking for some called birds nest fungus now.

That last one looks like a morel mushroom. Those are prized in several areas of our country as a delicacy if it is. But I would never eat any wild mushroom unless I was absolutely sure.

Piggybacking on another post, otherwise I cannot post in a challenge. This one is a repost from ten or so days ago.

Is this called Jack-o-lantern? Reminds me of candy corn, but I heard it was called the other name.

Edited to add that I googled that and it is not jack. But it may be something called Chicken of the Woods.

p.12 These are wonderful AJ! That last one is very different. That's the extent of my knowledge too!
