Almost nightly my wife and I go to view the sunset at Magic Island .. the second and third photo is of my wife and I where we sit each night .., my camera can be seen on the ready … a local photographer captured this shot and approached me with it …it was downloaded to me ..

Very pretty and colorful sunset photos, but remember, the sun doesn't set, the horizon rises.

I used to live in Nanakuli. Several times while at the 7-11 , we saw the green flash. If you blink, you miss it. Of course conditions have to be right, but it's cool. Never thot to take a pic, having kids is distracting...

That's because the horizon is constantly rising, or setting depending on what direction one is looking, and a setting sun is a subset of the continual horizon rise. Besides, as accurate as it may be, it sounds silly.
