...forth and take over the world for "Milkweedkind", well at least the back yard.

Canon 90D, Tamron 180 macro, 1/1000 @ f/16, ISO-800
hand held, spot meter on the white fluff so I had to open up the rest of it and increase the exposure setting a bit.

If you were expecting a portrait of a super macho paratrooper or similar, well sorry about that, maybe.

Thanks
I do not leave perfectly good airplanes while they are in the air. Our specials needs son hasn't jumped either. So it is 3 to 2 for jumping out of airplanes in our family.

My wife and daughter jumped once on Jasmine's18th birthday, she wanted to try sky diving and Mama bear wouldn't let her littlest cub do that alone.

Our oldest son transferred from Combat Engineers to Civil Affairs his last year on active duty and since they are part of SOG/Special Forces he learned to jump when he was in 38, I think it was. Then he transferred to the Reserves because there were no permanent slots in any active duty CA unit. His reserve unit sent him to Path Finders and then Jumpmaster School. When I said "Oh, you are the one who kicks the reluctant ones out the door!" he replied in a huffy tone "I jerk them out of line and put them to the side. After the last jumper is gone I assist them out the door and then I jump." Now in his mid 40's he changed to Logistics for his company so he doesn't have to jump so often. Just his yearly qualifying jumps.

What a really magnificent shot. The title sends chills down my spine. I'm a Ft. Benning alumni circa 1962.
