I wasn't impressed either when I was there many years ago and I never went back. They have since gone out of business here.

We paid $17 for a mediocre hamburger and a very sloppy veggie sandwich on a bun and a bottle of water. The sandwiches came wrapped in foil - no plate - very minimalistic.

Five Guys. Five stars. Really good burgers and great fries. Some don't like them because they go light on seasoning so they actually taste like real hamburgers not some overpowering seasoning combo. Good stuff.

That sure doesn't describe the Pittsburgh shop - a mediocre hamburger wrapped in foil - looked like a silver baseball! My veggie sandwich on an el cheapo bun was a sloppy mess which also came to the table looking like a foil wrapped baseball - those two sandwiches plus a bottle of water cost $17!!! Not even slightly impressed!!

Don't come to the California Coastal regions...the hamburger alone will cost the $17.00. Just Sayin'
