Anyone have experience with "Unique Photo" camera store?

Greetings all - I'm just asking if any of you folks have personal experience with a camera store named Unique Photo, with locations in Fairfield, NJ and Philadelphia, PA? I would appreciate any information that you are willing to share with me, i.e. good, bad or otherwise. Thanks for any help you can provide regarding this question. Best, chase

I've done business with them and have no complaints. They have been in business for a while now and just opened their Philadelphia store last year. They have a really nice web site if you haven't already checked it out. You could probably find a camera store a wee bit closer to you but if you don't mind doing business online, they are a good business to deal with. Again, no complaints.

Unique photo is the only camera superstore in New Jersey. The Fairfield store is small compared to B&H, but it is still fairly large. They are authorized dealers for the products they sell. Their prices are comparable with B&H and I've always found them to be reputable. I have purchased from them on a number of occasions. While I still tend to buy most of my camera gear from B&H, it is mostly out of habit. If B&H were no longer available, I would have no problem purchasing from Unique.

Thanks rumorison and mwsilvers for your feedback on Unique Photo (UP). After an extensive local and web search for a Nikon brand camera battery, UP was the only place that offered one on their website. Unlike all the others that said out of stock, back ordered, etc the UP website showed the item and said "add to cart" which I did and then proceeded to purchase the battery. I received an email from UP with a confirmation # and thanking me for my business. So now I'll just sit back and wait. Best, chase

I have purchased from Unique Photo. Have not had any problems with them. Prices are comparable to B&H and Adorama.

On a couple of occasions, when new lenses have been announced, but are not available, I've pre-ordered from the usual sources (B&H, Adorama, Amazon) and Unique. Unique has consistently managed to deliver before anyone else. Terrific to deal with.

Purchased a few items from them over the years. Sometimes they have items in stock that my local camera store, B&H or Adorama do not. Always a good experience with them, including well packaged, prompt shipping.

Living in NJ, I've visited Unique Photo many times and made multiple purchases. The most recent was for the Nikon Z 24-200 lens, which I'd been on a waiting list at B&H for a long time. I also purchased my used D800E there at a very good price. They are a reputable dealer, and one I can recommend.

Definitely deal with Unique! Very honest and upfront with you. I buy and rent from them all the time. They are about 60 minutes from where I live. I also have to put in a plug for Dans Camera in Bethlehem, PA. Also great to work with

I have never heard of them. But from the positive replies, it's good to have another good source of gear.

WOW, many thanks to all of you that replied to my question re: Unique Photo. 100% positives from fellow UHH members certainly tells me that I've done the right thing by ordering my hard to find battery from them. One of the many sayings that help guide me through life is: "If you think you should do it, then do it. If you thought you should have done it, then it's probably too late". I just ordered what is probably the same battery from them myself, the long backordered one for the Nikon Z50/Z fc. Even though they are a reputable dealer I'll be surprised if I don't get a message indicating it is still backordered. However, perhaps they are expecting a shipment this week.

I "highly" recommend them. I bought camera stuff for fist time in 2018. Recently I bought BENRO Tripod there. Best staff.
