The capital city further away than/from any other capital city in the world. Literally at the edge of a dessert. To drive there from the Australian eastern states, you have to come along the longest straight road in the world, the Nullabor plaines, which comes roughly from Ceduna in south Australia to Norseman in Western Australia.

Nice photos, my wife often refers to her trip across the Nullabore, it is etched in her mind, once done never forgotten I think. It is more user friendly these days but still one of the epic journeys.
