Easiest thing to do? salvageable parts inside hull? In Alaska, crashed planes are oftentimes just pushed off runways and left to rot,rust. No place else yo put them.I suppose the old boat could be burnt. I’m sure there are probably recyclable diesel parts in the old engine. The old shaft and prop are recyclable. Etc.. Replacement parts cost are extremely expensive in remote places due to shipping costs. The owner may have died or not wanted to tie up any funds to dismantle it and the spot it sits was “free”.
