I don't have a DJI Smart Controller ( I have a DJI Mini 2) but was curious. While it had generally good reviews on Amazon, this one was at the top of the list, yikes:

"DOESNT UPDATE. DOESNT CONNECT TO DRONE. DOESNT WORK. HAD 4 ACTUAL ENGINEERS IN MY OFFICE WORKING ON IT FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. TRASH. COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT THAT THEY WOULD SHIP WITH NO QUALITY CONTROL SURE MIGHT WORK FOR ONE OUT OF HOWEVER MANY PEOPLE. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. SHLUKD BE A CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR WASTED TIME TRYNG TO MAKE THIS IRRESPONSIBLE RELEASE WORK. ITS A DICE TOSS. THAT MAKES IT USELESS JUNK"

I have the Pro 2 and the smart controller, have not flown my drone much but if I can I will answer your question. The one thing that I will say is that I am not so sure it was worth the additional expense, don't get me wrong, it is nice, but I don't think that it does much that you could not do with the standard controller.

I have the Dji mini 2 and it works fine. However since the President is in NYC today there are more temporary restricted fly zones. When he leaves hopefully I can fly again.

Thanks....I have the Mavic and the Mavic Pro 2.....they are both great.....I can't wait until the Pro 3 comes out...they are saying. in Nov or Dec

Her is my problem:
Can NOT find the Page to set the [1] Max Gimbal Pitch Speed and [2] Gimbal Pitch Limit on
my Smart controller.

On my Smart controller when I bring up the page to go to the ADVANCED settings..there is NO CAMERA ICON on the left side. When I look at photo / videos on the web all the pages shoe a CAMERA ICON.

See my photos they show what I get...

When I click on the three dots as you suggested this is what I get....it was too long to copy in one screen shot so I broke it up into 3 shots in the sequence 1-2-3 [ beginning to end ]

Does you show the "camera icon" on your Smart controller......can you send me a screen shot.

I would make sure you have the latest firmware downloaded. DJI makes changes all the time to their software/firmware.

DJI Don't make a Pro 2 drone. They only Make, in the Mavic range, the Mavic Pro and the Mavic 2 Pro, but there is no Pro 2 of anything DJI makes.

I have the SC and the Mavic 2 Pro and there is nothing wrong with the system, don't be afraid of this great drone and controller just because of an issue one or two are having. They are many, many thousands of users out there have no trouble at all. Both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Air2 S are great drones.

Go back to the web site you saw that screen on and find out what firmware version he had on the SC and the drone. Then see what yours is. That is the best way to be sure you are looking at like for like versions. Otherwise you could be looking at very different screens and never get what someone else is showing. That is a common problem when looking at older Youtube video, or new ones when you have older firmware.

I suggest you try the dji forum (https://forum.dji.com/). Search for your topic or register and pose your question there. Lots of very smart, experienced folks on the forum. I guarantee someone there will have an answer.

The forum is not the same as asking DJI. The forum is an open discussion between DJI product owners and enthusiasts. DJI rarely gets involved in any of the discussions. You are much, much more likely to get an answer on the forum than you are by sending a request to DJI.
