As I noted in my post, that was the dictionary's definition of faith. As to "spiritual apprehension", I interpret that to mean the faith of some people may be due more to the fear of what comes after death (wanting to "cover their bases") as opposed to having a sincere belief that there really is a God.

Wrong, There is actually more evidence for a God than there is of a multiverse hypothesis. Doesn't mean God exists, but it's more evidence than the multiverse.

I'm an engineer, I've worked with scientists for decades. I know that an education can be wasted on just about anyone.

Key example; the scientists hired by the Tobacco industry to "prove" that tobacco didn't cause cancer or that nicotine wasn't addictive. Well, it does, it is, and they were hacks.

Being an engineer doesn't make you educated in the sciences especially in Biology. I'm pretty sure all of these scientists are more educated than you are. Your silly false comparison is just pure nonsense. You don't possess the capacity for logical reasoning.
