I have no idea what this "ripple" effect might be. It seems to be isolated to this one image and shows up SOOC. I've never seen this before - Any thoughts?
Washboard cirrus. High ice clouds.
I think you have multiple cloud structures present. The area you highlighted might be altocumulus. Lots of cloud guides out there to cross check, I looked at a couple to reinforce an old recollection. No expert!

A certain brand of extremely inexpensive wine can cause similar effects.
The Starship Enterprise went into warp speed through that area as you pressed the shutter button.
