You are wrong Thom, and for you to just assume that all white democrats are vaccinated is just ridiculous, there are plenty of white democrat voting persons who have not yet chosen to be vaxxed.

Before Covid, the majority of anti-vaxxer people were Democrats. Even Trump was against vaccinations when he was a Democrat. It's kind of disappointing that so many Republicans have moved into that camp since Covid, but I haven't seen a poll that actually shows that more Republicans are refusing the Covid vaccinations than Democrats. News media people have been assuming it, just because many Republicans have made a big stink about it. The fact that Black people are far and away the group getting least vaxxed and that 90% of them vote democrat doesn't make the odds very good that more Democrats are vaxxed than Republicans.

There will be no weeping here unless I laugh too hard. There's something very screwy about that NBC poll. They have the race demographics completely backwards, showing Blacks as the highest vaccinated (76%) followed by Latinos (71%) and in last place are Whites (66%). When I looked up the data from the Centers for Disease Control I got wildly different results on races, so I wouldn't trust the party affiliations in the NBC poll. They are counting on their viewers to be too lazy to look up real data.
The CDC graph is a little misleading until you read the legend. At first glance it makes it look like only 10% of Blacks are fully vaccinated. In fact it means that of the fully vaccinated in America, 10% are Blacks. It shows right next to it the percentage of Blacks in America at 13%, just as you said. With this in mind, it shows that Asians make up more than their percentage of the population in vaccinations, as do Whites. Latinos follow by being slightly less represented than their percentage, and lastly Blacks who are severely underrepresented.

What I posted (right or wrong) was gathered from surveys. They asked people, so they know their race. Whether or not the people asked told the truth could be questioned I suppose.

It is curious as to why NBC did a poll with an extremely limited amount of subjects in the first place when the CDC has been compiling data on race all along. Maybe they don't trust the government?????

That's an NBC poll of what you want to hear and believe. I wouldn't believe that. Most Medical Data shows that both groups of Blacks and Latinos have a higher percentage of the unvaccinated than do the Asian and white populations.
And if the govt. is going to be so racially obsessed, why would not our government and health care officials simply follow their own data and science and urge the Latino and Black communities to be vaccinated as quickly as possible?
