Can you believe it. It’s Sunday again already. That means Free Sunday should be opened for you to post anything you would like to share with us all but keep it family friendly. My wife monitors what I look at.
You got leftovers for previous challenges you still want to share; we will enjoy them here. You learned something new we should all know, help us out with some good lessons learned posts.
I will start with an afternoon experience Dee and I shared as we had returned to the boat in The Dalles, OR and were sitting on the 4th deck up front waiting for other shore excursions to return. There were really dark threatening clouds North of us with lightning dancing from them. I tried a few hand-held shots with little success. Then we spotted two lights moving in the clouds or below them anyway and were coming our way it looked like. As they got closer it turned out to be two airplanes that crossed the river (Lake) in front of us and made a sweeping left turn South of the river (Lake) and came straight at the boat.
If you hand hold a long exposure you can claim to have caught a double strike, but don’t have any deck railing in front of you.

One of the lights center screen and the other near the left. Again the shutter was set open a little long for hand holding, see the squiglies?

Both planes did a touch and go landing on the water in front of us and head back North.

Four from Missouri. Big Boy is a steam engine that came through Jefferson City.
Big Boy
By the time people reached the sign I think they would realize the sidewalk was closed.
Not sure, but I guess this is where Hookers go to rest and get away from the stress of life.

Big Boy sure is. If you're ever in Sacramento, CA there is a really nice railroad museum there not to miss.
You got any keys to the storage units, or should I PM you

Here something a little different......
Tribune Tower:
In April, 2021, I was given the opportunity to visit the iconic Chicago Tribune Tower building which is being converted to luxury residential condominiums. This historic, 32 story building was completed in 1925 on Chicago’s famed Magnificent Mile. Because of early construction techniques, the modernization and renovation has presented the construction crews with lots of structural surprises causing multiple schedule setbacks. Although the work is not complete, the completely refurbished building and new residential units promise to be as beautiful (and as expensive $$,$$$,$$$) as presented in CG on the web-site:
https://tribunetower.com/#Photos of the “CROWN” of the building are being posted here with no intent to compete with or promote the Computer Graphics presentation used by the sales office. So, these selected few (fun) photos reflect an artistic interpretation of work-in-progress with heavy post processing sky replacement that I think Bat Man would like….(lighten-up 😊, it’s my fantasy)

Thanks Brent.....the pics DO get noticed...(took some heat for the "Putting Out a Little fire on 09/11/21" series). I don't mind as long as the subject, composition, focus and exposure are working; I can play with the colors.....and create my style. Some of us like an "artistic" touch in our photos.
I take photos to challenge and please myself (and hope other like them and if the don't.....no tears here)....isn't that what it's all about?

We had a night time visitor glued to one of our windows...I think "it" was busy eating spiders.
