Didn't read the text at the links. But the summary speaks for itself. Let us all go with medical science and get vaccinated asap.

Who died and made you dictator of America? Unfortunately, we already have a dictator in Biden

The recovery rate is around 99%. Some of you seem to forget that

99% recovery rate you say. Than explain to me why in the America on Thursday we had 2,000 people die from Covid.19.

I think Covid is here to stay. It has been around for over a year, and it is mutating to make itself more effective. It looks like this will be the new normal. Rather than arguing over masks and vaccines, let's just let those topics die and get on with whatever life we can. No one is going to change anyone's mind.

Were the numbers honest? Hospitals getting extra money for Covid patients. Who can you trust?

I want to travel to India so I can't get on with life. Not happy.

Same here - politicizing vaccination is just plain stupid.

Setting aside the issues of patriotism and consideration for your neighbors, every infection is an opportunity for the virus to mutate. The more mutations, the greater likelihood that the virus will develop vaccine resistance. And the greater the likelihood that that will become the dominant strain.

Bingo - cogent and concise.

I guess they weren’t around when polio hit. Back then people couldn’t wait to get vaccinated. My wife caught the disease just before the Salk vaccine came out. You have no idea how much she has suffered since she was five years old. This is all political except for the people who can’t get vaccinated for medical reasons. My daughter can get blood clots and die so it is a toss up for her. It’s not about rights; it’s above saving lives.

It is pretty hard to trust a vaccine when the president, Joe Biden and the vice president, Kamala Harris both said on national TV that they would not get the vaccine that Trump had anything to do with.

I've not heard that from either of them. Please post a link substantiating your claim. It sounds like disinformation to me.

It all depends on how you define patriotism. In my thinking patriotism is not how you stand and cover your heart as you recite a pledge. Patriotism, to me, are the countless U.S. citizens who joined the armed services, knowing full well that the could lose a limb, become disfigured, or even die, in order to protect their fellow Americans and their country.

Remember JFK's famous speech where he ended with "Ask not what your country can do for you, but, what you can do for your country "

About COVID, it was a purely selfish reason that I got vaccinate d. I didn't want to be sick. I'm in my 70's and have health issues. If I didn't have those issues to contend with I would still get a shot.

As long as we allow the virus to infect others, we are allowing the virus to replicate, and in doing so increase the virus's chance to mutate into a virus that our vaccines cannot defend against.

My two cents.

Your "two cents" are worth a fortune. Like you, I'm in my 70s and have some health issues. I totally agree with your post and your reasoning.

I haven’t died yet, Billy Trump, nor have any of the friends, neighbors, or acquaintances. You choose to cower in fear, even with your majic vaccine. I choose to live life as God intended it. Be happy in your ignorance, and I’ll be happy with my choice.

I see to it that "I be happy with my choice" is on your tomb stone.
