Transferring images from card to BU drive without a computer

Any suggestions on a good way to transfer images from an SD or QXD card to my backup drive (Samsung SSD T7 or LaCie 4TB) without the use of a computer. I have searched and found only the LaCie Rugged BOSS as a device that will do this -- price about $450. I already have a couple of high storage BU drives and would prefer not to buy another one! The background for this question: trip to Ecuador and prefer not to take my a 15" PC.
Thanks for the help.

I use this product: https://www.ravpower.com/products/rp-wd009-filehub

Although not sure if they are still selling it. Shows sold out and zero results in Amazon

You might consider a portable external ssd and run it via your smartphone masquerading as a small computer. Requires 2 transfers using phone memory as an intermediate storage point.

Or depending on the phones capabilities, maybe a hub can be connected to have both drive and card reader at the same time.

A friend of mine is an apple fanatic and world traveler. They take an I-pad to transfer all the photos to. It is the viewable back up drive.
Not an apple fan? Surely an Android tablet like Samsung will do the same thing.

I use this too. Too bad it appears to no longer be available. It works really well.

I agree, if you can find a RavPower Filehub it will do exactly that. I use it cabled with USB to portable drives. It will download a card into a new file on your HD. I also have a My Passport Wireless Pro which downloads a card to it's own HD but doesn't duplicate shots that may have downloaded previously.

That hasn't been available for quite a while. I don't know why they would stop making it.

RavPower has been banned by Amazon. https://www.yahoo.com/now/amazon-just-permanently-banned-3-205635769.html

You may find some on eBay

Thanks for this link. I wasn't aware.
I have had only good experiences with RavPower and Taotronics, 2 of the 3 banned companies mentioned on this post.

Look at NEXTO DI. You will need an external power supply.

If you are an Amazon prime users you can store unlimited images in full resolution there for free. I currently have over 65k images there.

I know this is not the answer you're looking for but I use a Western Digital Passport drive. It is self-contained with internal battery and has an SD card slot. Simply insert the card and it transfers all the images/videos to the drive.

A trip to Australia was the original reason for our iPad purchase. With the appropriate Apple SD card to USB adapter, we easily backed up and viewed each day’s shots. However, we were unable to find an XQD card to USB adapter. Non Apple branded adapters did not, at that time, work.

Although not our original motivation, we now find that we use the iPad as much as any other computer.
