…it’s funny…when I looked at the first one I thought that the birdhouse detracted from the picture…but when I viewed the series it is like a “day in the life”…excellent story telling in pictures…!

When the weather cools down birds start to become more active and I have seen quite a varity this past year, hope to see the same this year. I had very good luck with my Blue Bird nest this year rasing 8 chicks, 2 nestings with a third nest that once again had 4 eggs. The female Bluebird on this nest was killed by a cat, feathers were found on the ground and the proof was pretty evident as to her demise. I'm assuming this was the same female Bluebird on all three nestings as it was the only pair of birds I had seen in the area around the nest box. Two nestings are not uncommon but three nests I would say might be a little unusual.

oh my gosh these bluebird shots are simiply awesome...excellent job, jerry
we have a lot of bluebirds around here but haven't shot any pics of them in a while. we have
put up about 9 bluebird houses all around the property but birds other than bluebirds sometimes move in,
such as the nuthatches and chickadees and titmice. love your shots with the babies...very cute.
Extremely nice. Would mid December be a good time to visit Florida for bird photography? I'm seriously considering visiting to check out some national wildlife refuges.
You nailed it Jerry.....lovely images of the Blue birds.....love your work.
Fantastic shots. Couldn't be any better.
Wow ! , gorgeous photos ! .......thanks for sharing
