a great image, the name is an interesting touch, but the anatomy behind her does raise a few more questions in my mind. what is it and why is it there? Sometimes such things are intriguing, and it has brought me back to view this image several times. one of the similar images shows a man behind her body, is this the same?

No. There’s a lot going on here. In the photo with the man, it’s me. I was using my bees for lighting but I wanted the phantom images you see in the photos, so I fired a speed light on 1/8th power I think and got myself exposed twice then Laura quickly took her place and pose and I left the scene and fired the studio lights. I was doing the light writing and wanted myself in the photo. In this photo, Laura did the writing and was exposed three times in the same manner. It takes some trial and error, but I think it’s a fun way to play around with the lightning and the models.

cool, i often use myself as a model when I have no model, I have experimented with many poses and lighting.
