Early morning on the river... eerie with the ruined bridge pilings, fog and quiet... then, the first strike of the trophy fish I am about to catch! Dreamscape? Perhaps, but that's what dreams are made of, right? As usual, download provides the best view...

And I'm sure that after that trophy fish pulled you out of the boat, it would head straight for the pilings. All of them A superbly serene and beautiful composition

Good luck with the fishing! (I never had the patience for it.)

This is a very interesting image. If it were mine, I'd do some work to correct some of the "halo" effects and chromatic aberration. It's already very nice, moody, soft, quiet and peaceful.... And with a little work could be a really great shot. I imagine it really appeals to avid fishermen.

Good morning Tommystrat,

I might be 71 years old but this one is really "COOL"!
I have always loved atmospheric / misty / foggy images. I'm always on the lookout for 'em. I must have at least a couple of hundred stored.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry

At 85 years old I can’t deal with waders and slippery rocks below. But gawd do I remember the feel of wet fog and the chill going down my spine as I wonder how am I going to keep the clunker under that ripple from wrapping my line around the piling. Lord don’t let me miss this one! Thanks for helping me relive those wonderful days on the river.
