Assume that is a remote? If so, did you go into the Shooting Menu an enable it?

I use it with a D7200, no issues so far:
- Make sure both part have battery life
- Make sure receiver has the cable well connected on both ends
- Make sure receiver is ON

Which shutter release option and shutter speed are you using?

I have had issues with connections before. Turns out it was a bad cable. I always carry a spare cable or two and when shooting for clients, I also pack a second T/R set. I put different colored gaffer tape on each set to pair them in the field.

I had it with a D7200 but had no problems with it. I found however that the documentation provided was bad. I went online and found better documentation and tutorials to work with.

I used ml-l3 for the 7000. I believe bulb and other stuff was possible. I don’t remember exactly, sorry. I remember it was a easy good working device. Just my 2cents
