A few photos from our w/e up the coast to start my stay here.
The setting sun was blood red/hot pink, but my camera converted it to coloured sky with a whitish sun...just couldn't capture the depth of colour in the sun sphere.

Try playing the the white balance, it the color your camera is capturing isn't true to what you are seeing with your eyes. Maybe try the cloudy setting or sunny setting. Sometimes if you can play with the white balance a bit, a better photo will result instead of letting the camera use the AWB setting (average white balance). Cheryl P.S. I enjoyed your photos.

Thanks for that advice. I used the sunset setting on this photo. I need to have look at doing what you suggested.
