Flight from Memphis to Atlanta to attend a regional Junior Achievement Conference. I was 15 and the plane was a large 4 engine turbo prop. It was most likely the final year those flew since I can't remember seeing those flying around after that. That would have been in 1965.
I was 5 years old and flew from San Francisco to Portland Oregon with my Mother and 4 siblings to visit my Mother's parents. Mother suffered a stroke on the return trip, she was only 35. She was stumbling around trying to leave the plane with five kids but the stewardesses wouldn't assist her because they thought she was drunk. My old man vowed he would never use United Air Lines again. I don't know what else he did regarding UAL but he could be a mean bastard.

Boot camp wasn't my first plane ride but it was my first in a jet airliner. Flew from SFO to LAX in a DC-7 prop plane and a 707 from LAX to San Antonio, TX. The acceleration down the runway of the 707 compared to the DC-7 was impressive. Pushed me back in my seat.
About 1955, DC 3, flew over our area with family on a company plane owned by the company my dad worked for.
Cincinnati in 1983 for AT&T new employee training.
