I have taken a couple... here's one.
You can see on the wing where it didn't stitch properly; it was taken over ??? in an airplane in July.
Really nice panoramas everybody!
Here is my contribution... I shoot panoramas almost every time I go out. I like to turn the camera vertical sometimes to get more height on them, but I did not on these three. They are all from the Smokey Mountains, first two from the Cades Cove area. I did not use a tripod for any of these, I just keep the horizon in the same place in the viewfinder, and that works pretty good for me. The second one is made from 9 pictures and the full size pano of that one is 20,921 x 2628 pixels. :) I shoot with a Nikon D300.
This is one of my "shot vertical" panoramas from Shades State Park in Indiana. The crop looks like a normal Horizontal photo but it's actually 5 verticals with a lot of overlap (because I was using a wide angle lens). What this gave me was a higher resolution wider angle picture than I could otherwise get. The original has a pixel count of 6074 x 4146, a normal picture from my D300 would be 4288 x 2848. So I could make a good size nice looking print from this using this method. Try it, it works great!

Which program did you use to stitch your pano?
Autostitich is freeware and it is all I use, you might give it a try and see what it can do with your airplane shot.

NikonJohn,
I love the Smokies, they are not too far from me, and I've been there a few times.
That Shades park looks nice too.
Post more soon.

Walden looks like a beautiful place, it is well captured in your pano.
I used to vacation in Ouray in the SW part of your state, haven't been back in years though...

Hi Eric. Thanks for your appreciation. This was shot about 5 am on my way to catch the sunrise and to get some shots for my Photo clubs quarterly competition on reflections. This was not shot into a mirror however I was on the out side looking in.
A little while later I walked back and saw this reflection of the San Diego Skyline in the same window.
