Israel is not a Christian nation, and would probably be offended at you implying that they are.
You are quite right Israel is not a Christian Nation. But it is the Nation Of The God of the Bible the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Who is the Father of Jesus Christ His only begotten son.
Just an FYI
Jeremiah 3:17
New King James Version
17 “At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow[a] the dictates of their evil hearts.
Isn’t Jerusalem in Israel….. 😏
Oh and for the record Jesus was prophesied of in the OT

They reckon the 'missing years' were spent roaming in the near and far east pinching all the good ideas.
My question for the believers is ... if Jesus is such a cluey God, why did he choose Donald J Trump for America?

I would also like to comment on Boberic’s comment on love.
The bar for following Christ is set very high and I guess love is one of them.
You can always completely intellectualize spiritual matters. The Bible and following
Christ is spiritual.
For me the Bible speaks about being born again and once we are we are in dwelt by Gods Holy Spirit
which helps us to become more of what pleases God, and that includes helping us to love.
Helping us to repent from the sins we used to commit on a regular basis it helps us change little by
little. I’m not where I should be but I’m a long way from who I used to be.

The Dreamtime is 65,000 years old and is as credible as any other belief system.
It's certainly more poetic and beautiful than the fire and brimstone crowd's nonsense.
A foundation belief is that we belong to the earth ... not the other way around.

Maybe because America took prayer out of schools 😏

Well then why is there so much evil in the world

f/2.8 let’s 1/4 as much light as f/1.4 fall onto the imaging sensor.

Not to be "that way" but I think you meant Garfunkel. I don't think the cat, nor the former president sang with Paul. (Just blame that dadgummed autocorrect)
Years ago, when I followed my curiosity, the direct words of Jesus took on their own meaning, apart from a colored view. Now I see that the words of Jesus alone may prompt enigma. In turn (using your characterization), "reiterations of Jesus' teachings" arose. These statements naturally varied in their explanation of his teachings. These efforts resulted in religion as the vehicle by which to spread the message of the ministry of Jesus.
