Can anybody please instruct me how to make the cursor disappear while I type?
I move mine to a corner of the screen. Not disappeared but out of the way. I turn off my sensitive pad when a mouse is present too as that is the most annoying thing (until you have no mouse).

Under windows 10, in mouse properties, under pointer options there is a check box - hide pointer while typing. Not sure what it does, not seeing any changes with it checked off.
Yes, I've checked that box, too, but the cursor does not hide itself while I type. That's why I've turned to the crowd her for guidance.

The pointer and the cursor mark (the skinny "|" beam) are different items.
It's nice to have the cursor mark, especially when I'm inserting text or want to delete text.
As for the pointer, some programs do not "hide" it when typing. I just move it when typing if it is in the way.
Yes, the pointer at the cursor is very annoying.
