about the rail history of MO.
these were in the windows of the Katy Depot, sorry I bring a lot about the Katy but it is a resting spot for me on my bike rides I am at 14 -21 miles a day ride 3 or 4 then a day off
There is an interesting article on the more recent days (1974 thru 1980) of the 'Katy' in the September 2021 issue of Railfan & Railroads...if you're interested.
If interested in KATY, might want to check out these books - "The town that Loved KATY" by I.E. Quastler and James J. Reisdforff; "The KATY Railroad and the Last Frontier" by V.V. Masterson & "Images of America: Parsons" by David Mattox and Mike Brotherton. Both the KATY & the MOPAC as you know were eaten by the Union Pacific. 73
