Really nicely done Jim. I love the North Rim. Did you know that there is a herd of Bison on the North Rim/Arizona Strip? Some good Elk there too. I took my best bull between there and the Utah border many moons ago.

Thank you, Chief...yes, I have photographed the bison there and mule deer. Congratulations on your bull, there are never easy to get and I have never really taken a really big one. But I have had some really good luck drawing and bagging two good mule deer bucks on the Kaibab. Drew Unit 12A West Late two years in a row, 1998 and 1989!!
Beautiful shots - and thanks for the info. I took some photos there about seven years ago and have spent all this time not knowing the name of that peak. Mt. Haydon - I'll remember it now.
A beautiful sight on an early morning. The young and more adventurous souls actually set off to climb this edifice as they did this morning. I didn't wait around to take their photos as it is a long hike to the Mt. Haydon base.
