Thanks, John, I appreciate the kind words and your feedback. Getting up early is necessary in walking my dogs during the summer heat, but this was earlier than that.

What a tranquil looking location Mike, enhanced by your moody images.

Thanks for looking, Roger. In the midst of 80,000 acres it can be very tranquil. The refuge is located between two major migratory bird flyways as well as home to many species. It is the largest American White Pelican refuge in the world.
