On the win 10 laptop they work as promised but on the work station they each start to open with opening screen then poof gone. Have done 2 reboots and reinstalled all programs with no success. Anyone else run into this problem and found a fix?
Uninstall, reinstall.
Contact Tech support.
No problems on my Win 10 desktop. I would try to contact Topaz tech support.
What video card do you have and do you have the latest drivers installed?

Contact their tech support. I had a similar problem about a year ago. Turned out it was a driver problem with my video card(NVidia) and a Topaz update we’re not playing well together. The solution for me was to roll back to the previous version of Topaz. A couple weeks later another update to topaz came out and I was able to go forward. Not saying that is your problem, but contact topaz their support in my experience was pretty good. Just a word of caution I used the online email support and it was usually the next day before I got a response. So it is not immediate. I don’t have the patience to call and sit on hold. So I was content sending an email and going about my business until they got back to me. If you need access to the program immediately try rolling back to a previous version and see what happens

You might want to try to close all unnecessary programs. Try to limit those programs that automatically open on boot-up but which you don't really need. Every open program consumes the RAM that the Topaz programs need. Their memory requirements are heavy, and you might not have enough Random Access Memory to accommodate them.
I get similar results as the OP. I have a fairly high end Win 10 Desktop, built by one of my son's with graphics in mind.
I originally had no problems with the three Topaz programs that I purchased - Sharpen, Denoise and Gigapixel. Since they have been updated they, from time to time, do exactly the same, start to load then nothing!
I wrote to Topaz. Other than telling me I was in a queue, they didn't respond.
What I found was to shut the computer down, start it up again and immediately try to open the required Topaz application. In my case this doesn't always work, maybe 50-60% of the time it does.
It will be interesting to hear if others have found a solution to the problem/s.

Thank you for this pertinent info. The 3 programs are fairly new, only 3 weeks but all have had updates. I did the shut down with no results. Guess I'll have to wait for the next updates. It's so nice when a person actually answers the question asked and not just offer guesses.
After installing Topaz sharpen on a Win-7 system, it refused to start with a message that blah-blah file was missing. Upon checking, there were two blah-blah files on the hard drive. The file should have been in the install program. I expected better, but that's just me.
