We will be getting a visit from hurricane Ida in the next few days. My wife just had a knee replacement a week and a half ago, neither one of us are moving very fast. We are on the gulf in Mississippi.
I’d be for bailing out now. It won’t be as bad here in North Alabama, just a few tornadoes and trees on the ground. But, we won’t have to swim for it. Pack your camera now.😀

You will be in my prayers!! I agree with AJFRED that you should go now. I helped my neighbor through her recovery when she had knee replacement and she had it rough. I would have been in a mess trying to get her out if there was a hurricane coming here. She was in so much pain and all movements sent bolts of pain through her. An evacuation trip would have been torture. If you go now, you can take your time and stop as you need to instead of having to go as fast as you can to get away.
Good luck and keep us all posted.

I feel your pain. After two direct hits last year, a record freeze, a record flood, and Covid I know well what you are facing. Leave now and stay safe. Keep us posted.
You probably seen your share of hurricane's over the years.
I would go North about a hundred miles or so ... NOW

You are in my prayers tonight. Those who have endured a direct hit from a hurricane will understand. Good luck.

My first big hurricane was Camille back in August of 1969 and yes we have been through several. Hope we make it through this one without any damage. Will let everyone know how we made out when it's over.

I'm sure that we will miss you here on "The Hog".
We dodged a bullet! Still have electricity, didn't receive any damage but did get very wet. We are all OK!!!

So glad you are okay. You and your wife were on my mind yesterday and I was hoping you would let everyone know your situation.
Take care!!!
