I'm not an advocate of ivermectin, but you did ask, and so here is a link to a large meta-analysis (a meta-analysis basically combines all known quality studies and analyzes their results together as if it had been one huge study) from the U.K. published in a reputable medical journal (American Journal of Therapeutics) that concluded that ivermectin would reduce death from Covid and likely reduce severity of illness:

HOWEVER - the largest study included in this meta-analysis, accounting for 15% of the patient total, was the Egyptian study that was shown to be fraudulent and was retracted by the authors. Nonetheless, the authors of the meta-analysis maintain that even without the Egyptian study, their results would still show benefit from ivermectin. However I have not seen any recalculation of data on their part to prove this. So take it or leave it, but there it is.

Just do the numbers, folks! The vaccine is protecting over 90% of those who get the shots, and those other 10% are relatively minor cases. If I offered you a bet where the chances of you winning were 90% the only question you would have is, “Where do I put my money!”

I do not mean this to be unkind. If you are in fact a doctor, I take you at your word that what you experience is real and you are relating the facts as you experienced them.

However, I don't believe anything I see in the media these days about covid or anything else. The media sensationalizes and distorts the facts constantly. Sometimes out and out lie. For example, there may be one isolated hospital that has seen an uptake in covid cases (often they call illnesses covid when in fact they are not). They make it sound like every hospital in the nation is exactly the same, when in fact they are not!

At the peak, when the media was touting that all the hospitals were overflowing with covid deaths, so much so that they had to have refrigerator trucks to hold all the bodies. Well I wanted to see this for myself. I live in San Jose, California. I went, in person, to 5 of my local hospitals to ask to see their refrigerator trucks. They laughed at me. "We don't have any trucks." They said. So then I asked, "well then your ICUs must be overflowing with covid patients?". "No." Some ICU's had no patients. Some were at 30 percent capacity and zero covid cases. None had ANY covid patients.

I feel for the families of bona fide cases and loses. My prayers are with them. But...

The flu now, is called covid. People die of pnemonia and heart attacks, and they are reported as covid deaths.
Being tested or diagnosed with covid means nothing. If you never develop symptoms. Statistics are damn lies meant to deceive.

I will not allow myself to be genetically modified, for the government, with a chemical that has had horrible side effects and deaths. These shots not only modify our DNA now, but for all generations to come.
There is a 99.7 percent chance I will not contract covid. Less chance of dying. So, I will not take the risk.

You, of all people, coming from the US should understand that no matter what the real situation is no hospital is going to tell you just what their real state is. You are dreaming if you think that 5 hospital spokespeople are just going to front up and tell you anything. You are obviously living in a little world all of your own. And as a comment of how you feel about your fellow man your statement "and I do not care" says it all. Some people really do need a hard smack around their ears to make them wake up ! American isolationism ! This world is in a really bad way with climate change, rising communism, bad religions, crappy governments, rubbish disposal problems, covid and you don't care ?
About the only thing I will give you is that the media really is also one of the problems !

B.S. Read the plea from the heads of the 3 largest hospitals in our area posted above and their numbers and then tell me this is media hype. This denial of facts authenticated by every major medical association and the heads of major hospitals is exactly the reason my 4 grandchildren are fighting a Covid infection. Civil discussions and differences of opinion are always appropriate, but misinformation during a medical crisis that has cost over 600,000 American lives (and which I’m personally experiencing) is criminally irresponsible. For shame.

Last year I saw a lot of articles about it being used in different countries and they noted that those taking it as an anti-malarial had a smaller chance of developing covid. Also they use it for at least two other things besides malaria so it just may help with covid also.

Several African nations, Turkey(? I think I read that early last year) and India have or are using it at much higher doses than the US trials. There are many drugs that are useless at too low a dose but effective if you take enough.

Long ago I read an article about a SW Pacific island where missionary doctors found that aspirin (which the locals had never taken) was curing some fairly major things. But 5-10 years later when it was common on the island the people and/or the organisms had become resistant to it and it was only good for headaches etc. like in the developed world.

Not much on math are you? Maybe 5-6000 people have had serious side effects or died from COVID-19 vaccines. 600,000++ have died from COVID-19. I'll take my chances with vaccines! And have had no side effects and a heck of a better chance of surviving if I catch COVID-19. I also have a much better chance of not passing COVID-19 on to someone who will die. I view this an act of a responsible citizen in today's society, apparently you don't!?
