Why would a space force member need a knife like this. I would like to know. I'm not being sarcastic I'm just really curious.

KA-BAR U.S. SPACE FORCE KNIFE / $100
Ka-Bar's fighting/utility knife has served all branches of the US military well for years. And now it's adding a knife for the newest branch: Space Force. This made in the USA knife features a 7" 1095 Cro-Van steel clip point blade with a gray powder-coated finish. The Kraton G handle is a baby blue color and the knife can be carried in a grey MOLLE-compatible hard plastic sheath. Each USSF knife arrives razor-sharp out of the box and promises to serve faithfully throughout the solar system.

Blade Length: 7" / Thickness: 0.16" / Width: 1.8" / Overall Length: 11.75"

When traveling through space, would you rather have a "spork" or a K-BAR to fight off aliens or the Dark Forces of the Death Star..?

Just because it’s called a KA-BAR U.S. SPACE FORCE KNIFE doesn’t make it official. My guess is that it’s a scam trying to lure the gullible.

It's not the space force members who need the knife. It's the knife manufacturer's who need/want the money.

My father was in an infantry service company in the South Pacific during WW2, and brought this KA-BAR home.

Don't know the full story of where he got it, he was the first to note that he never saw combat. At the end of the war in a service company the GIs had plenty of time to kill, and he made plenty of projects, including this sheath stamped with service data. On the back is stamped:

"GIVE ME KENTUCKY...LAND OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AND FAST HORSES."

Marshall

I have a "BUCK Model 19". I bought it in the '70's and it has never been sharpened. I only use it to cut the ends off of corn before processing. A great knife.

It doubles as a letter and shipping box opener. We all know how much the astronauts on the Space Station look forward to their daily mail delivery as well as those special items they ordered from Amazon.

High ground gives a lot of bonus in a battle. Space is the ultimate high ground.
There are now many nation that can reach space and some of those are not friendly. So it is logical to be there first, to have the advantage and leverage even in peace.

Or maybe the they angered the wrong alien
