It sounded serious. I am surprised that it doesn't display bracketing on the screen / viewfinder. Or is it turned off in the screen / viewfinder with some settings?

I may, just was not observed?

It has a small buffer. But you still should be able to get higher FPS for the first bunch of images, then when the buffer fills it slows to 1 per sec.

I know some of the more expensive top brands can shoot continuously at full speed until the chip is full. But I thought most of the brands will still shoot at faster than 10fps once the buffer fills. I have heard that the Olympus boggs down to somewhere between 10 and 20 fps from the 60fps. But we are only talking 20mp + JPEG. Is it mostly governed by megapixels and/or buffer design? As far as you know, is it typical for most brands to drop to 1 or 2 fps? That just seems like an unbelievable drop. Even for consumers I would think they would put in a decent buffer.

A reservoir can be any size but the water transfer is limited by the size of the pipes.
