During today's visit to the flea market I practiced stealth shots keeping my camera at waist level, pressing the shutter release and hoping for the best. Got lots of images of legs without bodies but also some acceptable results. I need to refine my technique but since this was only my second attempt I'm pretty satisfied.
Excellent pictures. You have some different sets of people in your area. From the tattooed woman with a Mohawk, to what looks like Quakers. Must be a great place to live.
What focal length lens did you use if I may ask? I am guessing 24-35 to get a wider photo.

If you have a flippy screen you can peek to square the shot up pretty surreptitiously. I also afree with Demmis, shooting wider gets more keepers. I love the ones you have shoed us. A Flea Market, in many cases, is closer to a traditional street as we're likely to find in our strip mall world.
Thanks for sharing a slice of the day.

Glad you liked the shots - they were taken at the Rogers flea market in Rogers, Ohio and there are definitely a range of people, from Amish to whatever! I used a Z6/35mm pairing for these - the 35mm being the most unobtrusive lens to use.
Image #5: Looks like these folks are dressed just for Walmart!

That is what I thought. Thanks.

Very good street shots, Sue! Do any DSLRs have interchangeable pentaprism housings? Several SLRs had removable finder prisms. If yonre up for using film a TLR makes a good surreptious photography tool.

Sorry to show my ignorance but I have no idea what you are talking about - technology is not my strong suit. FWIW I shoot with a Z6 and love its versatility.
You do nice work Sue, please keep it up!
