I am using Windows 10 and PSP 2021 Ultimate. When I attach my Pentax K3 DSLR via USB port, Windows recognizes the device.
In PSP 2021, I choose File | Import | From Scanner or Camera, and then I choose myMy K3 device. After selecting one photo, I click the Get Photos button. The PSP software appears to lock up, that is to say I cannot access any other menu items, shortcut keys do not respond, I cannot shut down the software without using the Task Manager. I have waited 30 minutes before using Task Manager.
Does anyone know if the Pentax K3 is supported? As I said earlier, PSP and Windows recognizes the camera. Has anyone else using Pentax equipment been able to use this feature?

Thanks for the information, I do have Aftershot, I will see if the process works there. I would still like to be able to use PSP 2021.

I always found it easier to pop the memory card out of the camera (K-1 & K-5), and import the files from the card. It appears to be faster, too.
Hope this works for you,

I put my card into a card reader and load to a hard drive and access them on to
Psp21 Ultimate from there very easily done without any problems
I use a card reader as well, I just wanted to solve the issue with the software. It is always good to have more than one option.

Connecting the camera to a computer to transfer the files is an option I haven't used in over ten years.
