There are some problematic features of the link you supplied. It says that one might have "mild cognitive impairment" Having more trouble coming up with desired words than other people of the same age. How is one to know how much trouble other people of the same age have in coming up with desired words?

But "Sometimes forgetting which word to use" is part of normal aging unless one "has trouble having a conversation."

So which is it?

Amazing how people will ascribe so many reasons for something they know nothing about. I lived in that particular area of Florida for 20 years, 30 miles down the interstate and traveled that section of the interstate daily going to and from work. Those signs were put there because the big rigs would overnight there, no other reason.

It makes a very interesting photo, at least. The only thing that would improve the shot is a car parked mid way through!

When the Rest Stop fills up with Trucks at night, other Trucks try and park on the berms leading to, or after the Rest Stop. This is very dangerous. The signs are trying to prevent a very risky traffic situation. Other states have these signs as well, so, NO, it is NOT a Gov DeSantis grandstand effort.

One could argue about the number of signs but not the purpose .
You’re exactly right . It’s a problem through out american

You’re right - in the Attic facts mean nothing.

When you know, that facts are not important when they can be fabricated right?

A few months ago we witnessed the installation of some 100 "No Parking" signs on the exit ramps to a pair of rest stops on I-95 @ about milepost 292. Each exit contains ≈50 signs spaced about 50 to 60 feet apart covering nearly a half mile each.

I'm attaching two photos of this excess attempting to show "no parking" signs stretching out to infinity. Neither photo captures what I had hoped to capture, but gives an idea of this unbridled carnage.

To get the proper photo angle I would have had to shoot from the center southbound lane, which I was inclined not to do. The other photo was taken from the road shoulder on the other side of the roadway. This would have been a perfect focus stack project, but even from the shoulder, heavy traffic wind gusts severely buffeted my tripod setup. Enjoy what they are in download.

Nice shots. Shows the outrage well.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I'd appreciate it if you would tell me the meaning of those purple emojis. I can't find them anywhere but here.
