On The Path To Enlightenment….Are You A People Person?

I first noticed the sun rays and set up my tripod with my compact Panasonic LX10. I saw a person in the distance and as he approached took photo #1.

I later used my “better camera”, a Nikon D7500, and took photo #2.

For variety, I did a black and white, with a slightly different crop, for photo #3.

Sometimes we use people to show scale and distance. More often, we may remove people, to have a cleaner photo.

I think I prefer photo #1 in this case, but photo #3 is close.

I welcome any constructive thoughts.

A subject makes a photo more interesting.
IMHO
1&3 👍
2 is pretty but less interesting.
Thanks for sharing

I like the people. I am torn between 1 and 3. Well done.

If you put a piece of paper up to the first shot and crop out the bottom shadow I believe that shot is improved 100% The man actually looks closer to you.

I like the b&w. My attention goes straight to the person in that shot.

I agree; even though I love my D7500 I reckon I'll go with your Panasonic. There's a lot of drama in @1 and #3, but even though I'm usually a fan of B/W I think the edge goes to the color.
Thanks

My order of preference: 3, 1, 2. I particularly like the sun's rays that are more visible in 1 and 3. All nice shots.
