But we don't know what the
actual problem
may be in order to offer any assistance.
I'd ask that person to explain why...
Perchance might he just want you to have a 'new" system as opposed to having an old one?
I agree with 14kphotog - your smartphone doesn't have to be active on a phone carrier network. You just need to connect it to your home's Internet connection via wi-fi. I have an old phone without phone service and it still gives me Internet access through my wi-fi router.
Also, I find it curious that you can't use your existing computer to upload photos to UHH. That process doesn't require a very powerful computer. In addition to the computer I use every day, I also have two very old computers that can upload to UHH just fine. I suggest you try it, even if your friend said you can't do it. You might surprise yourself.
Think of the bonus you'll achieve once you figure out how to post the photos -- you might sell your camera gear.
Good luck!

I have some film cameras for sale, but I can't post any pictures. Was told to get a new computer. Ok, to pay for a new computer I was going to use the money from the sale of cameras to do it. Any ideas?
Bill, I use this site to resize photos when needed. Try it, hope this helps.

This post is a lot of fun, 18 posts and still nobody yet know what kind of film cameras the person posting is trying to sell.

Hmmm.
I thought the problem at hand was that he can't seem to post a picture.
After 19 replies, I will find another way to sell my cameras. Good Day.
You know one thing that was not mentioned was for Bill to hire/find a helping Hog to take photos of his products and post them online for him..

No, you were told by someone selling computers .... If you can access an internet browser, and hence start this entire post, you can attach images too ....
