Just rec'd the attached email product update from B&H. I wasn't aware the D850 (body only) had been discontinued.
I'm wondering if it will be replaced with an upgraded DSLR, or if Nikon's sole focus will be on mirrorless.
There will never be a better DSLR than those you can still buy today.

B&H WEBSITE UPDATE: They have changed the status to "more on the way". A person on one of my Facebook groups called B&H this morning and was told they are putting names on the wait list and they are not sure when they will have more in stock but will notify the waiting list when they do.
I just posted this on another thread about this.

When the new models ended, DLSRs passed into legend. And mirrors became myth. And by 2023 only those with the longest beards could remember a time when photography was limited by mirrors.

March 2020 rumors are pretty worthless when we've arrived to August 2021 and never a peep more ...
The future is being made today and delivered tomorrow as your new mirrorless camera.
Update: B&H Error - the Nikon D850 is not discontinued.
