I've shot three of these four scenes repeatedly over the years, the only 'differences' being time of day and weather conditions. Shown in the order they were captured.
#1 - Just up the switchbacks, barely into the Park (Arches N.P.). A four image quasi focus stack/horizontally shot combination of ascending (from looking downward to looking upward) captures processed into a vertical 'panorama'. 24mm lens setting.
#2 - A straight, single image 'scape shot with a 20mm lens.
#3 - The most complex of the lot; 14 separate exposures, two rows of 7 images each. One row with focus placed on the near ground, the other row with focus placed on distant ground. The resulting separate captures then focus stacked and merged into a panorama as planned. 24mm lens setting.
#4 - A simple two image focus stack. 35mm lens setting.
A very nice series. I especially like no. 4, it would grace any wall. Thank you for posting!

Those are really beautiful shots. Congrats. I like all of them. Very well composed with good use of foreground to give depth. Number 3 is my favorite with that brooding sky and the promise of some cooling rainfall. Beautiful place.
On a side note, my mind wandered to the images from the Mars rover. The red soil in your images reminds me of those - if only Mars had a few plants spread around here and there.
Your dedication to your craft results in excellent shots, Jim! I appreciate your explanation of what you did to achieve these wonderful results.
These are all beautiful creations, any of which I would be proud to have done.
As always, all beautiful photos but, I really like the angle of view in photos 1 & 4.
