I'd heard the bird's call on my daily lockdown walks over a period of 3 weeks. One afternoon I took my Canon M50 with 100-400 mark II lens with me. The Yellow-throated Minor birds were making a commotion and so following their activity to a large gum in the bush I looked up to see the owl staring down at me. The Powerful owl is the largest of it's species in Australia. f6.3 1/800 330mm ISO5000
This is a very good shot.
Excellent portrait! Thanks for sharing.

Great exposure - well worth framing and hanging.
That an amazing photo, and no fill flash.
An M50 with 100-400? Adapter?
