I live in an area of North Carolina (USA) that gets some military planes fly over. Many are too high and many more can never find. Here are some of them.

A nice variety. Not terribly sharp. Enlarged? I thought the Osprey aircraft had been grounded for safety issues.

Mostly Navy and Marines from the looks of them. Thanks.

I see the Osprey about every other week here. I have never had it real close. Many of the aircraft are at about 30,000 to 42,000 feet altitude. I believe all of them have been greatly enlarged. For example, the fighter jet I could barely see with my naked eye. Some are going to/from Cherry Point or Seymour Johnson.

Here in Albuquerque I see the Osprey quiet often at low altitudes.

I hadn't heard that. Generally the only time I see an Osprey is when I'm down near Camp LeJeune or Cherry Point. Seymour Johnson is about a hundred miles from the coast and we literally never see Coast Guard aircraft around here. We do see a ton of choppers out of Fort Bragg and they also support the "Robin Sage" excercises that happen from here to about sixty miles west of here. Here being Southern Pines, N.C.

Saw an Osprey crash prior to lift-off at Wilmington, DE many years ago. Was flying up to Wilmington to dinner with friends in my Cessna 182.
