A handsome fellow with nice coloration and actually most snakes are beneficial but there are some that I would rather not live at my doorstep.

Excellent. I like snake pictures. I had many garter snakes where I lived before and a few times accidentally ran over them with the lawnmower.

Way cool and quite beneficial to have around and a joy to see. We have a fair size Plains Garter Snake that calls our yard its home and when I see it I think, "Well..it has to be eating something to stay here so that must be a good thing".

Thanks! Wife thinks it is a Green colored Buttermilk Racer. I am neither a snake enthusiast nor expert, but I believe I know all the venomous ones on "sigh".t
