Yes...it is decent. It offers good background, on-line lessons and abundant extras such as "skies' and other editing looks, etc. But, to your point, it does come at a price and that would be your decision to determine if the membership meets your financial investment/reward threshold.
Cheers!
Or another way for them to make money? Yes. Is it a good offer. Only you can tell, by either joining, or reading reviews here and online. To some luminar is good. I have it, but don't use it.
I use it and I like it. But I’m not a professional photographer. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that you don’t get all the looks when you purchase. You have to wait and you get new looks every month instead of getting them all at once. You also get different lessons on photography every month, so if you’re new to landscape photography they offer a lot for the money you pay.
Thanks guys. I'm leaning towards it, but want to hear more from the hogs that use it.
More and more I find myself taking the easy way out with Luminar, versus spending hours on edits. Too many other interests to take up my time when I am a simple hobbyist in photography.
