I have and used the Godox TT350 with both my Sony cameras, although I don't have the 7III. Read the manual and check your settings...I find it hard to believe.

In the Godox 350s booklet, the list of compatible Sony Cameras are, a7r11, a7r, a58, a99, ILCE6000L, a7711, RX10. Looks like the a7111 is NOT compatible after all. My TTL tests show generally under exposure.
Thanks for all replies with helpful input.

Don't Sony make a flash for the A7III? You can't say that the A7III doesn't have TTL unless you use a Sony flash unit.

I don't know who you are replying to, because all I have discovered, is that my Godox 350s, and Sony A 7111 are not compatible when I try TTL'

I am replying to you. OK the Godox doesn't work with the A7III that doesn't mean the A7III doesn't have TTL. You have to test it with a Sony flash unit. Third party flash unit in many cases won't work with all the models.

Wonder if someone at Sony, might send a complimentary flash-Gun so I can extol the virtue of Sony Flash-guns? (Rhetorical Question).

If you bought the flash after the camera body, then it is your fault for not checking compatibility first.

As the flash was purchased from the internet, and the spec' included " TTL with Sony cameras" The list of cameras compatible, was in the box with the flash, delivered by Royal Mail from China. That is when I learned (and my own testing) that model Sony a 7111 was not included on the list. Other posters have made blanket statements about model a 7111 able to do TTL, but did not clarify certain proviso's necessary for that to happen. I can still use manual flash though. Just like old times!!

I think Sony has the best manuals. I downloaded the manual from Sony website and can't tell if the Sony A7III would have TTL flash or not from the manual.
