I use the Canon Pro 300 (happy with it) and, as I did with the Pro 10, usually print using Canon Easy Photo Print (after Photoshop Elements 2021 processing). Just wondering if anyone has had experience with Canon Professional Print and Layout or Canon Print Studio Pro and whether I should switch from Easy Photo Print (which I think may be the oldest software of the three). I know Professional Print and Layout is compatible with the Pro 300. Not certain about the Print Studio Pro, and the on hold time for Canon eventually led to my hanging up.
Not the world's most important issue but I would welcome any thoughts or advice.
Thanks.
I use the Pro100 with Canon ink & paper. I pp using PSE 2020 and print using Print Studio Pro. Very happy with output. Easy to setup and use.
Can't help with Pro 300. Did you mean Pro 200?
You can tell if PSP is compatible by seeing if it is available from Canon on the Pro-300 support site download section.
But PP&L is a newer software, so I suggest you use that.
Canon is doing a lot of online presentations with photo shops search for ones where the Canon rep last name Lee is the presenter. He talks a lot about the software. It seems very impressive.
Print Studio Pro is not compatible with the new 300 printer. You have to use Professional Print and Layout. It is actually very good and gives excellent prints especially black and white prints. I'm extremely happy with the results.
