Eagles More Eagles Belfair State Park 7-14-2021

I captured so many images of eagles that another posting with eagles became necessary!
The juveniles flew very close to me-just outside the minimum focus distance of my 500pF- 3 meters. I had my D500 on rock and roll shooting over 600 images of just the eagles! Heat distortion ruined many of the shots. A few survived and here are some of the surviving images! 1/4000, f 8, ISO 1600, no EC or CPL-Handheld!
Distance did make a difference. Most of the useable shots were taken at fairly close range.
