Jerm,

How did you get your panos to display so large?

I tried clicking the 'save original' box and it made no difference.

Please share your posting technique,

Eric

Haven't tried a panorama yet. I always figured I needed a special lens. I see now that photoshop has photomerge, just another unused feature so I guess it's time to get out and try it.

Jerm,

OK I did that but what size (pixel width) did you save your linked photos? I've tried linking photos before and they didn't show at all.

Maybe I need professional help?

Eric

Look down two posts, I finally figured it out!

Check out Autostitch at autostitch.net, it is what I use and it is free.

I took these today..... First one is a 3 photo stich, and the second one is a 5 photo stich.

You have to download them to see the full size. Second one was from about 6500 feet. The original on the second one was about 115" long....;0)

I found a much more useful method for marking the beginning and ending of the panorama set - turn-off the auto focus and cover the front of the lens to make a completely black frame showing the start and the end of the panorama set.

This way you can locate them when you look at the thumbnails in both Windows Explorer or the Organizer of most photo editing programs.

My camera allows me to create additional Folders on my Memory Card - so I make one called "PANO" for Panoramas and I make another called "HDR" for storing them separately from the normal shots I take.
