hi team -I traded up and purchased from MBP a Z6 and its grading was excellent category - unfortunately it has a small scratch from obviously being knocked just under monitor-it is probably cosmetic but it does bother me - waiting for XQD card to be delivered before testing -should I reject the camera body and ask for replacement - MPB have been advised and they have offered to make an allowance - not sure if I am being to fussy
any thoughts or advice
Well pasted below is their Condition Specifications from their T&C page. Based on their own rating system the difference between "Good" and "Excellent" is subjective - except for shutter count. What constitutes "significant scratches"? "Excellent" doesn't mean there won't be any scratches. It would depend on how large and deep the scratch is, and also the condition of the rest of the camera, shutter count, and how well it works. Some sellers, such as those on ebay, use a more granular grading system (Excellent+, Excellent-, etc.)...but, if it bothers you exchange or return it.
