I inherited a Minolta Maxxum 3xi Film Camera. It also has 3 lenses: Minolta 35-70 mm 1:3.5-4.5; a Quantaray 1:4-5.6 f70-210mm; and a Quantaray 1:4-5.6 f75-300mm. My question is does this camera and the lenses have any value? I have no interest in them.
Put ebay in front of each item and you can perform a quick search and get reference pricing via google. Is $50 for the camera alone "valuable" in your book?
The lenses have use today on mirrorless cameras. The A-mount lenses mount directly to Sony's A-mount cameras. An adapter for the A-mount to the target mount is needed for other candidate mirrorless bodies. The Sony a77 II is (was) a 24MP cropped sensor body, discontinued in just 2020, one of the final Sony A-mount bodies.
$50 plus shipping gets the whole lot. Thanks for the response.
You’ll find lots of them listed on shopgoodwill.com. They have a hard time getting $20 for a set like this.

There is only 1 Minolta lens. Third party lenses in A mount aren't worth much. They Maxxum cameras except for the 7 and the 9 most of them are so cheap that few people would want a 3.
They are not worth a whole lot, either individually or in the aggregate. The 3xi, I believe, was toward the lower end of the Maxxum line. They are probably very plentiful on the used market. The Quantaray lenses were the house brand of Ritz Camera. The lenses are acceptable performers for amateur work but not outstanding in any way. You might want to check out the website for KEH Camera to get an idea an idea of what these items are going for on the used market before making any decisions. You might be better off just donating them to a place like Goodwill if you really do not want them.
Thanks for the info. I think I will donate them. Compared to the cameras today, this item is very basic. Maybe someone might like a throwback to the old days to put on a mantle. Again, Thanks

Well they are actually not old enough.
Looks like I have a sow's ear here. Maybe somebody will find some interest
