That is how long The Eye and Lens of a Foodie or Calling all Foodies Section has been in existence. We have 98 Subscribers, have had 203 Threads and 2,781 Posts. It was suggested to me that this is a good time to take stock of our situation as regards moving the site forward. I'd ask each of you, particularly those who contribute regularly, but really everyone, to offer any ideas for additions or changes, your likes and dislikes. We can look over the input select popular options and move to the next phase. Many thanks to all who visit the site in addition to regular contributors. BR Q
I would add that one reason we’ve come this far, in addition to great members, is your vision, leadership and participation, QD. Much appreciated.

You are too kind, my friend, but thank you!
I really enjoy the site, I would suggest, where possible, to include a recipe.

Thanks for your input. Here are the guidelines for recipes. Please let me know If I didn't address your concern adequately.
Recipes
Original recipes can be added as a PDF or offered on request via PM. No scans or copies from published materials please. Nearly any recipe can be found on the internet and provided as a link. It is recommended that before a “new to you” recipe is shared, it be cooked and eaten, corrected and adjusted as may be needed. (I’m thinking of a recipe from a very good source I tried recently which would have been charcoal without more than double the specified fluids.)
QD, I have not yet contributed however enjoy reading. TY for all you work and effort in introducing and managing.

This section has become my favorite. When it first came out I had just purchased a new Weber Master Touch Grill and was planning to document the "feasts" I prepared with it here.
Sadly, the grills arrival coinsded with 2 weeks of almost constant rain. Things dried out enough for me to use it once and the rain returned. The rain also ushered in a severe flare up of my COPD and I ended up in the hospital for a week and came home on Oxygen.
Oxygen + open flames is a big no no so, grilling has been reduced to a spectator sport for me. I am teaching my daughter, who I live with, how to smoke and grill using charcoal and plan to document her experiences here.
PLEASE keep this section going! Since I'm sidelined, when it comes to cooking, it allows me vicariously enjoy everyone else's!
